Three Canning Jars

Before moving to the sunshine state of Florida, I did a good deal of canning. From my own backyard came plums, crab apples, rhubarb and tomatoes. My neighbors grew those peaches that drip down to your elbow when you take a bite. The farmer's market supplied huckleberries, strawberries, and blueberries. I have yet to try my hand at orange marmalade from our Florida citrus, but I do still have all my canning supplies.
